We built the previous prototype for the 'Proof of Concept'. The robot was created to analyse the Ten Billion Barrel and to execute the necessary moves to solve the puzzle with a self-created algorithm. Because of the fact, that the prototype was not build with a thought-out concept, the robot was very error-pone. The circuit-boards were not developed carefully and overheated easily. The mechanical components were not optimally controlled and they partly did not suited well for carrying out the required movements. For example, step motors execute lifting and grappler movements whereby the speed and the error-rate of the robot suffer. Our solution algorithm was comparable with other known very good algorithm, but still far from being mature. The prototype never solved the Ten Billion Barrel completely, because the time between two errors did not fit with the solution time.
